This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to Eevo, Inc. (“eevo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), our website at https://eevo.com (the “Site”), all related websites and consoles, downloadable software, mobile applications, and other services provided by us (individually or collectively with the Site, our “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes why and how we collect and use personal data and provides information about individuals’ rights.  It applies to personal data provided to us, both by individuals themselves or by others.  We may use personal data provided to us for any of the purposes described in this privacy statement or as otherwise stated at the point of collection.

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable living person.  eevo processes personal data for numerous purposes, and the means of collection, lawful basis of processing, use, disclosure, and retention periods for each purpose may differ.

1.1 Business Contacts

a. Collection of personal data

We process personal data about contacts (existing and potential eevo customers and/or individuals associated with them) using a customer relationship management system (“CRM”).

The collection of personal data about contacts and the addition of that personal data to the CRM will include name, employer name, contact title, phone, email and other business contact details. In addition, the CRM may collect data from emails (Sender name, recipient name, date and time) and calendar (organizer name, participant name, date and time of event) systems concerning interactions between eevo users and contacts or Third Parties. If you choose to purchase a product from us, our Third Party payment processors will collect your payment information.

We may obtain information, including Personal Data, from Third Parties and sources other than the Service, such as our partners, and advertisers. If we combine or associate information from other sources with Personal Data that we collect through the Service, we will treat the combined information as Personal Data in accordance with this Policy.

b. Use of personal data

Personal data relating to business contacts may be visible to and used by eevo users to learn more about an account, client or opportunity they have an interest in, and may be used for the following purposes:

We display case studies and projects of satisfied customers on our Site and occasionally quotes from customer after approval. If you wish to provide a quote, we may post that to our Site along with your first name and last initial, job title, company. 1.2 Visitors to our website

a. Collection of personal data

Visitors to our website are generally in control of the personal data shared with us. We may capture limited personal data automatically via the use of cookies on our website. Please see the section on Cookies  below for more information.

We receive personal data, such as name, email address, and company, from website visitors, for example, when an individual signs up for an account.

Visitors are also able to send an email to us through the website. Their messages will contain the user’s name and email address, as well as any additional information the user may wish to include in the message.

Do not provide any sensitive information (such as race or ethnic origin; political opinions; religious or philosophical beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; genetic data; biometric data; sexual life or sexual orientation; and, criminal records) to us when using our website.

b. Cookies

There are different kinds of “cookies” – small pieces of code set on web pages to help functionality – and the charts below describe the types of cookies used by our Site, their purposes, and their expiration dates. “Session” cookies will be deleted when your browsing session ends (i.e., leave the Site).

1.3 Individuals who use our mobile applications

a. Collection of personal data

Visitors to our applications are generally in control of the personal data shared with us. We capture limited personal data automatically via the use of IP Address.

b. Use of personal data

We collect IP Address to protect our applications from malicious attacks and log errors within our system. We also use IP Addresses to derive the location of our users at the country level, which are aggregated and anonymized.

1.4 Third Party Services (Blogs, Social Media, App Reviews, Other Sites)

Any personally identifiable information you elect to make publicly available on our Sites or Service or any site managed by a Third Party, such as posting comments on our blog page, applications, or social media pages, will be available to others. If you remove information that you have made public on our Sites or Service, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of our Sites or Service, or if other users have copied or saved that information. Our blog is hosted by medium.com and our social media is hosted by Third Party application providers that may require you to register to post a comment. We may not have access or control of the information you post. You will need to contact or login into the Third Party application if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed. 1.5 Recruitment applicants

We post our jobs on Third Party sites such as Angel.co, for applicants applying through a Third Party site you will need to register with those sites and should review their terms of service and privacy policy. Alternatively, applicants are welcome to apply to a job by sending a resume to jobs@eevo.com. We will only use this information for understanding a candidate’s experiences and the application process for which they have applied.

2. Data Retention

Cookie data will be retained as stated in the Cookie Policy.

Individuals who use our mobile applications: when PII data is collected it is stored for a maximum of 1 week.

We retain your personal data while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you Services, routine-record keeping, customer care, and as appropriate (and unless otherwise requested), future contacts regarding potential agreements for the performance of services. This includes data you or others provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services.  We retain personal data that is used for marketing communications while you are an active subscriber to any of our e-mail lists, blogs or communities, and for a period of five years thereafter, unless you request that we delete your data before that time.

3. When and how we share personal data and locations of processing

We will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so and as described in this Privacy Policy.  When we share data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect the data and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards.

Your information collected through the eevo Service may be transferred, stored and processed in the United States, Europe, or any other country in which eevo or its subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. The U.S. may not have the same data protection framework as the country from which you may be using the Services. When we transfer Personal Data to the U.S., we will protect it as described in this Privacy Policy and in our Privacy Shield Notice.

This includes, for example, firewalls, password protection and other access and authentication controls. We use SSL technology to encrypt data during transmission through public internet, and we also employ application-layer security features to further anonymize Personal Data.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Service, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. eevo self-certifies compliance with EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss – U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth at the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information that is transferred from the European Union and its Member States, and the European Economic Area and Switzerland to the United States. eevo has certified that it adheres to the requirements of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement. 6. Minors and Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you are under 18 years of age please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any manner. If we learn that Personal Data has been collected on the Service from persons under 18 years of age, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are aware that someone under 18 years of age has obtained access to our Service, then you should alert us at privacy@eevo.com and we will delete that Personal Data from our systems.

9. Individuals’ rights and how to exercise them

a. Access to personal data

You have a right of access to personal data held by us as a data controller.  This right may be exercised by emailing us at privacy@eevo.com. We may charge for a request for access in accordance with applicable law.  We will aim to respond to any requests for information promptly, and in any event within one month.

b. Amendment of personal data

To update personal data submitted to us, you may email us at privacy@eevo.com or, where appropriate, contact us via the relevant website registration page or by amending the personal details held on relevant applications with which you registered. When practically possible, once we are informed that any personal data processed by us is no longer accurate, we will make corrections (where appropriate) based on your updated information.

c. Withdrawal of consent

Where we process personal data based on consent, individuals have a right to withdraw consent at any time. To withdraw consent to our processing of your personal data please email us at privacy@eevo.com or, to stop receiving an email from a eevo marketing list, please click on the unsubscribe link in the relevant email received from us.
